Ok no big deal just kill the fonts and then get 2/3 essences down. poelab listed Sword Izaro with Fonts first, Essences second. 5700 hp Acro/Phase Acro with Slayer leech I gauged DPS in PoB at about 120k and had Culling Strike so i figured no sweat. I ripped yesterday morning to an Uber lab. Started that character again this morning, having some quicksilver flasks stashed meant I wasn't as frustrated with the start. That was a dumb death and I am terrible at this game.Įvery death in hardcore feels dumb, and so much of surviving in HC is building up an encyclopedia of game knowledge about the things that can kill you. I am glad I wasn't too far in yet, but that is the first time a death has me thinking about uninstalling the game. It was going fairly well, in act two the mobs were not much of a problem and I decided to unlock one of the Labyrinth parts, foolishly ran with one of those saw traps under my feet not using one of the quicksilver flasks or my leap. I decided to try hard core for the first time. Luckily a gem vendor who becomes available later on sells those gems at level 1.
I agree with you, using an Orb of Scouring just because that Ghost in the Library wants to sell me a high level skill is not really something I want to do. I was trying to figure out why my CWDT and Immortal Call were both around level 10.
